Life Alive
Being healthy is beautiful, and the colors of the Life Alive drinks alone are fun to photograph. They have also opened a number of new, beautiful cafes across the city that are uniquely crafted to the space. We visit one of the original Life Alive cafes on our Central Square Food and Mural Arts Tour, and we love trying their bright turquoise blue ocean drink — so tag us at #otbpfoodtours when you post!
Barra
Have you ever been to Mexico City? Have no fear, you can simulate a visit right in Union Square, Somerville at this gorgeous and tiny bar. Inside, you will definitely want to take a photo with their grasshopper sign! And maybe try one of yourself pulling the cheese out of their signature quesadilla, which we sample on our Union Square Somerville Food Tour on Saturdays. Delicioso!
Viale
Sundays are made for mural hunting, and there’s no where better than the eclectic neighborhood of Central Square, Cambridge. Tatte
Inspired by her Israeli roots, Tzurit Or started Tatte with such individualized cafes. The one in Kendall Square near MIT has a very striking chandelier that’s remniscient of Anthroplogie stores. Now they have unique black and white tiles that make gorgeous photos as well as all of their yummy food — such beautiful pastries, drinks, and atmosphere with the taste to match!
Amorino
Did you know that a customer actually created Amorino’s famous gelato rose? We love sampling gelato on our Harvard Square Chocolate Tour, and we also learn all about the back story of this specific Harvard Square location which has much meaning to owner, Lea.
Jonquils Cafe

Pinocchio’s
‘Nochs is Mark Zuckerberg’s favorite pizza place, and the place he visited right after launching TheFacebook.com. Its little white and red storefront is iconic in the area, and you’ll love trying a slice on our Harvard Square Food Tour.

Ready to be transported to the West Coast (LA/Mexico)? Citrus and Salt, in the Back Bay, has instagrammable food — with its colorful mixed drinks to spirited vibes, you’ll find it not only delicious by oh-so-pretty. Wusong Road (Harvard Square, Cambridge)
Now and then, a restaurant comes along that just BLOWS us away with its creativity and imagination. Wusong Road is just that, other restaurants just pale in comparison to what they can accomplish — from amazing tiki decor to the most imaginative bao and drinks. Mariel
Right in Post Office Square, Mariel is an IMPRESSIVE space with a capital i. The dimly lit atmosphere is perfect for a date and is remniscent of a trip to Cuba. You’ll enjoy the small bites as well.

Fat Baby (South Boston)
The name alone is hilarious, and this sushi restaurant in South Boston has a really interesting almost 1990’s vibe. From the drinks to the bao, you’ll enjoy taking photos before you eat it all up.
Loco (South Boston)

The North End is quintessential Boston (check out our favorites), and Mamma Maria is one of the most elegant spots in town. Deck 12 @ Yotel Rooftop
Looking for rooftop restaurants Boston? Well look no further! The seaport is very hot right now in Boston, and this rooftop is oft photographed for good reason. Located within a hotel, you’ll love their iconic red chocolate fondue set, chair lift swings, and gorgeous views!
Lookout Rooftop Bar @ Envoy
Another rooftop we love in Boston, is also in the Seaport district. They have beautiful igloos that light up and you can reserve, and they also hae beautiful firetop tables. So put your drink on their ledge, cheers, and take the perfect Boston photo!
Lolita (Back Bay)
Trust us that this Back Bay mexican tequila bar is quite a sight. Set on a dark backdrop, there’s exquisite floor length stained glass windows that are breathtaking both for photos and to take in during your meal. Saint or sinner? Eat your dinner!

Commonwealth Cambridge
On our Kendall Square Food Tour, we tell all about Commonwealth — their chef owner Nookie and his wife are actually really amazing at digging through vintage furniture, and they picked out all of the items in this gorgeous space which is often used for weddings as well.
The Beehive
This South End classic is full of Bohemian vibes. We love thier live music, which happens Thursday to Sundays including brunch. Yes! So hold your drink up to their stylish background and snap a photo for the ‘gram before you indulge. Bzz!
Cafe Landwer
Their signature color palette makes for really beautiful photos, and you can also photograph their shakshuka and other Israeli specialties. We are partial to their chicken shnitzel, but I don’t think we have ever gotten a great photo of it because we just scarfed it down right away!
Saltie Girl
Seafood is the name of the game here in Boston, and Saltie Girl is one of the favorites in the Back Bay on Dartmouth Street. Their wallpapered bar, mermaid vibes, and well-styled food like colorful beet salad or oysters are fun for the ocean lovers!
The Dough Club (Harvard Square)
Taiyaki and mochi donuts are basically made for instagram! And this local spot in Harvard Square has both — coming from NYC it’s the second location in Massachusetts. And the donuts and ice cream are oh-so-fun! We try them often on our Harvard Square Chocolate Tour!
Bakey Babka
Pull apart the Bakey Babka and realize what good life choices you made to get you there. They’re opening a second location soon in Newton, and rightly so as they have already gathered quite the following!
A4Cade (Central Square, Cambridge)
This 21+ retro cafe is so only open after hours part of the week. If you enter Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, you may not actually notice the hidden doors to this arcade. Super Mario lines the floor to ceiling, and there’s so many aesthetically pleasing sites among the fun!
Glass House (Kendall Square, Cambridge)
Another truly breathtaking space in the city is in Kendall Square, Cambridge. We love visiting Kendall on our Progressive Dinner Food Tour — it is so close to Boston, right near Charles Street in Beacon Hill and also MIT, and there’s a lot of big beautiful restaurants there. Glass House pays homage to the area’s glass-making history.

Machu Picchu (Union Square, Somerville)
From the cocktails to the gigantic ears of corn, this Union Square staple was one of the first in the area, and the first Peruvian restaurant in the area.
