Rainy Day or Snowy Day Things To Do in Boston!

There’s an old joke about Boston weather. Don’t like it? Wait 5 minutes. Our food tours run rain or shine, and some of our favorite memories are of tours that were in the rain or snow. In fact, it’s a perfect time to be a guest at our restaurant partners because we get extra attention. And you can consider them a fun urban adventure!

Our Boston food tours are fun in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer! Yes, we can alter the route to walk a little bit less during inclement weather days or to avoid areas that have flooded or could be slippery. We also provide hand warmers to guests to keep your hands cozy during the enter tour and then hours later. And we spend a good deal of the tour inside of the 4-7 restaurant stops that you will visit in all seasons.

Also the cold can burn calories, right? So it can be extra fun to indulge yourself on a chocolate tour for example during the Winter months. There’s something so crisp and breathtaking about a recent snowfall and the chilly Boston air. After all, our tours are often taken by locals visiting their own backyard and learning more local history, so we all know that New Englanders are hearty! In fact, many guests don’t even take our handwarmers because they love being outside and walking around during the Winter, Fall, rain, or snow!

So bundle up, bring appropriate weather gear such as umbrellas, rain boots, layers, gloves, hats, rain coats, waterproof pants, scarves, wool socks, you name it. And most importantly bring a smile on your face because you’re going to love the special curated experience that we created for you! Look forward to meeting you soon on a Fall Food Tour or Winter Chocolate Tour. Let’s have a blast together and enjoy a fun date night in Boston or weekend activity.

Our Food Tours and Chocolate Tours run year-round. Please consult our Tour Calendar for a fun Boston activity in the Fall or Winter or Spring or Summer. See you soon!
