So it could be a little bit of a drive for some guests, but Modelville Hobby in Ashland, MA is a wonderful place to try your hand at indoor slot car racing. They open at 4pm, so after a yummy afternoon snack you can enjoy this throwback sport together. You can watch them operate the machine or enter a slot car yourself in the race. Take A Sketch Pad And Draw At a Museum

One of the best ways to really discover art is to bring a sketch pad with you to a museum and try your hand at learning from the masters. Although the MFA is always a win, parking there can be a big deal, so it may make sense to try one of the lesser known museums such as the Harvard Art Museums or the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis or Davis Museum at Wellesley College.
