Best Buffets in Boston, MA and Cambridge, MA
Painted Burro (Harvard Square, Cambridge)
We LOVE this local chain, and on Sundays in Harvard Square you can enjoy their all you can eat bottomless brunch buffet. Afterwards try our Harvard Square Chocolate Tour when you get your second wind! It’s such an amazing price, only $25 per person (which doesn’t include sides, desserts, or drinks) and is available both Saturdays and Sundays from 10-3. This spot used to be Border Cafe right on Church Street. They also have Painted Burros in Brookline, Somerville, and Waltham.
Henrietta’s Table (Harvard Square, Cambridge)
Another one of our favorites for Sunday brunch buffet is Henrietta’s Table in the esteemed Charles Hotel. Pile your plate high! Children 4 and under are free. They have delicious waffles, made-to-order omelettes, hot entrees, and a variety of desserts. But beware it’s $80/guest so on the higher end.
Nu Bar (Harvard Square, Cambridge)
We have been going to the Sunday brunch at Nu Bar for decades. Afterwards, stroll down the cobblestone streets of nearby Harvard Square. You can try everything from quiche to breakfast potatoes, fish and chicken, clam chowder, a carving station, salad, and brioche french toast. Only $45/guest, we think this is a great value!
Harvard Square Food Tour (Harvard Square, Cambridge)
Maybe not a buffet, but our progressive meal is offered on Saturdays, and you can enjoy food from appetizers to mai tais on our Saturday Harvard Square Food Tour while being entertained with fun stories by our local guides.
Concord Inn (Concord, MA) or Town Meeting Bistro (Lexington, MA)
Take a trip into the Birthplace of America, which is only 15 minutes from Cambridge, and try a delicious Sunday brunch buffet at either the Town Meeting Bistro or Concord Inn. Afterwards, do some gift shopping and historical tours in these interesting cities. But beware, it’s pretty pricy for these buffets.
Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen (Boston, MA)
We love the Sunday brunch buffet at Darryl’s, and if you’re looking for some comfort home cooking, you will too. They are also reasonably priced on Sundays from 10-4 for only $25.95 per adult with a slight discount if you’re a senior aged 65+. You can try everything from cheddar grits to bbq ribs to fried chicken and mac and cheese — you won’t leave hungry!
We love buffets in Boston and enjoy serving lots of tasty eats on our food tours! Check our tour calendar for more information on booking a tour.
Capo (South Boston, MA)
Wednesday nights is a bottomless pasta night at Capo in Southie. The cost is $32/guest which is pretty good considering it’s house-made pasta. We like their penne alla vodka, but they have everything including gluten-free pasta. Yum!
Alma Gaucha (Seaport Boston, MA)
There are a number of yummy Brazilian buffets around Boston include Fogo De Chao, but we are partial to Alma Gaucha which offers an all you can eat prime steak dinner plus hot and cold bars for around $60 per guest. There’s lots of side dishes and all kinds of meat including filet mignon. Another yummy option for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ is Sura in Medford.
Dosa N Curry (Somerville, MA)
There are lots of delicious indian restaurants with buffets in town, but we really like the vegetarian restaurant Dosa N Curry’s Tuesday night all you can eat dosa nights! Our favorite Indian restaurant is Masala Square in Union Square, which you can try on our Union Square Somerville Food Tour on Saturdays!
Spring Shabu Shabu (Brighton, Boston, MA)
There are also lots of delicious all you can eat hot pot experiences around town, but we are partial to Spring Shabu Shabu in Brighton. You can order meat or seafood on the side for an extra cost, and the delicious noodles and sauces are a hit. They offer a delicious soft serve in vanilla or green tea matcha ice cream for dessert which is amazing.
Yamato (Boston, MA)
If you like japanese food, you can try Yamato which has an all you can eat sushi experience – there’s a location in Copley and also in Brighton which is more relaxed.
Our food and chocolate tours include the cost of all food and drinks. We pride ourselves on serving a lot of food so you’ll leave with a full happy belly! Check out our tour calendar for details.
Happy eating,
Lizzie and Sam
